Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy, as an instrument to support compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 – and its applicable national legislation, facilitates compliance with the law and promotes greater transparency in practices and procedures, providing the guidelines for the pursuit of a public service of excellence, with the following main objectives:

  • Ensure the fundamental rights and duties of all users and employees of the FAMI 2030 Program;
  • Promoting the ethical performance of organizations and disseminating data protection standards in line with national and international best practices;
  • Consolidating citizens’ trust and respect for their privacy.

The Privacy Policy of the FAMI 2030 Program involves a set of rules and principles of data protection, which govern all the activities carried out by these entities, and is applicable to all their users and employees, regardless of the purpose of the former and the position, career, category and functions performed, as well as the contractual relationship of the latter.

Compliance with this Privacy Policy is mandatory and, therefore, all employees, managers and third parties related to the FAMI 2030 Program are responsible for ensuring compliance with it and, if necessary, should request clarification from the Data Protection Officer (DPO) via the email address pro.dados@sg.pcm.gov.pt. This compliance can be monitored by means of inspections, audits or written requests for confirmation of compliance, with all areas of the entities involved being responsible for regularly assessing their compliance within their area of responsibility.

The application of this Privacy Policy does not dispense with compliance with other duties arising from the law, nor does it prevent the application of other rules of conduct or ethics applicable to certain functions, activities or professional groups.
